These 10 Anime Characters are the MOST HATED by Fans

The reason Black Clover's protagonist is hated by the community is that he is the essence of Shonen clichés. He's one of the most generic and predictable characters of all, in just a few seconds it's possible to know that he's the main character. 9° - Near (Death Note)

Near entered Death Note just to be hated by fans. Barely appearing, he only came to finish the work. Having the impossible mission of replacing L and pursuing Kira, the character didn't please fans, since everyone loved and still loves the detective L and his brilliant scenes. 8° - Zenitsu Agatsuma (Demon Slayer)

Ok, you can disagree on this one, after all when the character is sleeping he manages to star in some of the most incredible action scenes in the anime. [caption id="attachment_213715" align="alignnone" width="1200"] Image: Reproduction[/caption] But when in his normal mode, Zenitsu is one of the most useless characters of all, he's always screaming, crying, yelling and making a huge fuss about everything, being more of a comic relief than a demon slayer. Because of that, his legion of fans is small, and his legion of haters is huge.  

7° - Shinji Ikari (Neon Genesis Evangelion)

This character is the opposite of Asta, he doesn't stand out in anything and has a very weak personality compared to the co-protagonists of the series. Without determination or courage, he always seems to have low self-esteem and is always complaining about something. 6° - Minoru Mineta (My Hero Academia)

The cast of My Hero Academia is impressive, but some of them, or rather Mineta, shouldn't be part of this group. [caption id="attachment_213722" align="alignnone" width="1920"] Image: Reproduction[/caption] With a somewhat bizarre quirk, he's just a pervert placed in the series to comment on women's bodies, something like comic relief with an over-the-top personality, which generated irritation and hatred among viewers.  

5° - Danzo Shimura (Naruto Shippuden)

So far the list has been light, with characters that aren't totally hated, but from here on things get serious. [caption id="attachment_213721" align="alignnone" width="1680"] Image: Reproduction[/caption] Danzo is hated by all Naruto fans, he is the main responsible for all the tragedy of the Uchiha clan, and even his epic battle against Sasuke didn't make the community like him. Being a high-level conspirator, he has futile motivations and acts cruelly to achieve them.  

4° - Sugou Nobuyuki (Sword Art Online)

For those who don't remember, Sugou Nobuyuki is Asuna's tormentor in SAO. He simply kidnapped the girl and kept her hostage in his game, planning to erase her memory and turn her into his personal slave. [caption id="attachment_213720" align="alignnone" width="1200"] Image: Reproduction[/caption] He tears off the character's clothes and humiliates her greatly, and even in the real world the character is not good, having abused Asuna while she was in a coma. There's no reason not to hate him, the only good thing is the beating he gets from Kirito.  

3° - Gabi Braun (Attack on Titan)

If you ask any Attack on Titan fan who the worst character is, they'll answer Gabi right away. The girl killed Sasha. [caption id="attachment_213710" align="alignnone" width="1200"] Image: Reproduction[/caption] She grew up and became a rebellious girl with no depth, since her introduction to the anime she was already making plans to kill her enemies. And even after changing her personality and gaining sympathy, she was not forgiven by fans. And of course, she shot and decapitated Eren, causing him to become a monster titan with a giant head and spine.  

2° - Sakazuki "Akainu" (One Piece)

He punched a hole through Ace. During the War of the Best at Marineford, Admiral Sakazuki decided to execute Luffy's brother with his own hands, dealing the final blow to the beloved character. [caption id="attachment_213709" align="alignnone" width="910"] Image: Reproduction[/caption] Before that he had also fought Kuzan and nearly killed Koby, who was his ally. Thus he managed to become the most hated character in one of the greatest animes in the world. And all fans can't wait for a battle where Luffy kicks this horrible character's butt.  

1° - Shou Tucker (Fullmetal Alchemist)

If you've seen Fullmetal Alchemist you know who he is and what he did, and the reason he occupies first place among the most hated characters. If you haven't seen, follow the following story. Edward and Alphonse found an alchemist who managed to create a chimera, he was the only one who had managed to do it throughout the entire work and was trying to repeat the feat, he was known as the Alchemist who Stitches Life. The alchemist in question was Shou Tucker, he had a daughter (Nina) and a dog (Alexander) and his wife had died a few years ago. [caption id="attachment_213719" align="alignnone" width="1280"] Image: Reproduction[/caption] The Elric brothers talked to the alchemist, met his daughter and became friends, he seemed to be a good man, and the next day when they returned to his house, he had managed to repeat the feat, he created another chimera! But when the chimera ended up speaking like his daughter Nina, the brothers realized that in fact, the alchemist Shou Tucker was the worst person in the world. He basically fused his little daughter with his dog, all in pursuit of fame and prestige among alchemists. The scene was shocking and disgusting and to this day no other character has done something so heinous to be more hated than him.  

Dishonorable Mention - Rachel (Tower of God)

The Tower of God character also deserves her place on this list for being one of the biggest traitors, cynics and fakes in anime history. However, the anime adaptation of the Manhwa hasn't shown yet everything bad she did, and she's not totally hated by anime fans. Therefore we'll leave her just as a dishonorable mention, until the anime adapts her cruel acts.
