Meet Noah Centineo, the 'Perfect Date'

  Born in Miami, Florida, Noah Gregory Centineo is the son of executive producer Gregory Vincent Centineo. He is responsible for Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return, from 2013. He made his debut in The Gold Retrievers, in 2009, when he was still a kid.     Later, he played young Dallas in the series Austin & Ally. Alongside Laura Marano, the actor had no idea he would star with her again later on.     In 2014, he was disputed by two girls as Jaden in the Disney Channel film, How to Build the Perfect Guy. But it was in 2018 that the actor gained notoriety playing Peter Kavinsky in To All the Boys I've Loved Before. Common for his young age, Centineo began to stand out in teen romances, which have taken up a good part of his resume lately. In Sierra Burgess Is a Loser, released by Netflix the same year, he was Jamey, a sweet young man who is won over by the personality and voice of shy Sierra, who in turn is ashamed of her appearance and puts another girl to pass herself off as her.     But it's in 2019 that Noah Centineo becomes The Perfect Date.   Centineo's media prominence has also sparked controversy. In 2017, a photo of him kissing another boy circulated online with rumors that he was gay. But the actor clarified by saying that the intention was indeed to provoke and say that there's nothing wrong with showing affection to people of the same gender.     Besides, a supposed intimate video of his began to go viral online.
