One of the aspects that makes Disney animated films so addictive is the storytelling. Each film has a grand message woven through incredible animation and captivating music. Alongside each character's quest for greatness, however, there was an antagonist who wanted to steal the main character's happiness.
What was even worse was when the antagonist or villain was someone the main character trusted. The level of betrayal in these cases was so disturbing that it shocked fans and left a mark on their lives.

Zootopia (2016)
Judy and Nick teamed up in Zootopia to discover what was causing the city's prejudice against predators and why they were becoming "savage" and scaring the city.
Dawn Bellwether was the sweet and charming assistant mayor who helped Judy and Nick with their investigation, but the duo soon discovered that Bellwether wasn't who she pretended to be.
Mr. Waternoose seemed like a stereotypical tough boss at the beginning of Monsters, Inc. He was the CEO of Monsters, Inc. and relied on Sully as his top employee. How the city kept running was by scaring human children and using their fear as energy.
At the end of the film, Sully and Mike were shocked to discover that Mr. Waternoose wasn't who they thought he was. He was planning to kidnap children to use their continuous screams for the city's benefit, instead of seeking out other energy resources.

Frozen (2013)
No one could blame Anna from Frozen for falling in love with Hans so quickly. Due to her sister's powers, Anna was sheltered and lonely until she met Hans. The two agreed to get married after meeting briefly, and it seemed like Anna's happily ever after was on the horizon (even though being that naive wasn't Anna's best trait).
