The 4 Scariest Batman Comics

Batman is a character directly linked to terror, although this characteristic has been more explored in comics. The Batman, the feature film directed by Matt Reeves, was the first bat movie that embraced horror, delivering some scenes that really fit the genre, plus creating an entire scary mythology around the character.
For older fans, especially those who follow DC Comics stories, the Caped Crusader is a hero who walks hand in hand with fear, and many of his main stories are completely dipped in horror, bringing plots and even artwork that are bizarre and sinister. So we've put together a list with 4 Batman comics.

Batman Damned
Batman Damned is one of those really memorable one-shots that leave you wanting more and with the feeling that more stories like this should be explored by writers working with the bat. Showing a Bruce Wayne disturbed by the Joker's death, the comic book starts quite mysteriously and stays that way until the end, with a great sense of tension on every page. Brian Azzarello's script is powerful and engaging, deeply exploring all the traumas of Gotham's bat, while Lee Bermejo's art is raw and heavy, matching the tense atmosphere of the comic. To top it all off, John Constantine's narration is incredible and makes things even better. [caption id="attachment_218612" align="aligncenter" width="750"]
