Euro Truck Simulator 2 is the second addition to the Euro Truck Simulatorseries. Players take control of their own driver, taking on dangerous jobs and using their truck to deliver all kinds of cargo to people, while managing their own business.
Of course, people who are new to the entire Euro Truck Simulator series wouldn't really understand the complexities of the game and might end up getting stuck along the way. There are some beginner tips for those new to the game to know before diving into Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Below you can continue reading the article
Follow traffic rules
Just because a player is playing a driving simulator game doesn't mean they have permission to drive like a maniac and break the rules. Euro Truck Simulator is not like Grand Theft Auto; the goal of the game here is to deliver all kinds of packages, not crash the car.
A player should remember to drive in a way that follows traffic rules. Running a red light, for example, will automatically cause a player to get a fine; this happens even if there's no police car around anywhere.

Ecodriving is a useless skill
Although there are some useless skills to learn in Euro Truck Simulator 2, many players have discovered that Ecodriving is probably one of the most useless. Essentially, Ecodriving will ensure that the player uses less fuel while driving; it starts with a 5% reduction and gains 5% with every rank increase.
However, diesel prices are really very low, and a player can easily pay for the diesel they use with the reward money they receive from deliveries. Ecodriving isn't the best skill for players to upgrade, because of these reasons above.

Don't take the first loan
As a player starts a new game for the first time, they may receive an offer from the game's bank. This bank is, essentially, a loan that they will have to pay back over time; although tempting, a player should not give in.
It may seem like it's a good idea to get this loan so an agent can buy their first truck right away. However, a player will still have to pay off all their bank debts, and it would be easier for them to take on jobs that already exist.

The beginning of the game can be difficult sometimes
The learning curve of Euro Truck Simulator 2 is not exactly the best, so to speak. A player starting a game will notice that things are pretty difficult at the beginning.
The player doesn't have much money, shouldn't really take the bank loan, and practically has to accept every job they can get to survive. As long as a player can get through these first difficult moments, it will become much easier for them.

Don't forget about dangerous cargo trips
There are times when a player will have to drive a particularly dangerous cargo across the game map. It may not seem like a good idea (because of how dangerous or volatile the cargo is), but it can be worth it in the end.
If a player can safely deliver these cargos to their destination, they will discover that the payment they receive is much more than the rewards from a regular delivery. It would definitely be worth it for a player to go for dangerous cargos.
The more a player drives, the more skill points they earn. These skill points, of course, can be used to expand the player's arsenal of driving skills and make things much easier for them.
A player should remember to choose wisely what to spend their skill points on. There are all kinds of skills that a player can improve, but only a few of them are really worth it in the end - using skill points to improve these skills will cause the player to waste points that could be used on really useful skills.
