As expected, the Prince of Persia franchise returns with a remake

Following the rumors, the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was indeed revealed during Ubisoft Forward this Thursday, September 10. Accordingly, Ubisoft released the first trailer of the title, which will be launched on January 21, 2021, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
Although it is a remake, the graphics shown are not particularly impressive. However, the gameplay seems to be as amazing as the classic. Check out the trailer:
The gamePrince of Persia: The Sands of Time was released in October 2003 for PlayStation 2, being the first 3D title in the franchise. In the plot, which follows as a sequel to the first game (1989), the Prince finds the mysterious Dagger of Time, a dagger that holds the power to rewind time. However, the ambitious Vizier plans to acquire the dagger and the Hourglass of Time, which would make him immortal, and to achieve his goal, he must defeat the Prince.
Finally, it has not been confirmed whether the title will be released for the new generation of consoles. We will have to wait and see.
