Glitch: is it possible there will be a 4th season on Netflix?
When it arrived on Netflix back in 2015, many subscribers didn't have much faith in Glitch. The production was, in fact, the first Australian series to premiere on the streaming service.
Glitch, however, managed to exceed audience expectations and earned two more seasons, with subscribers already requesting a 4th season of the series.

Keep in mind that originally, Netflix didn't produce the show's first year. The first season was entirely produced by the Australian ABC, and only starting from its second year did the service come on board as co-producer.
Recap the story of Glitch
Seven dead people return to life in perfect health and appearance. That's the story of Glitch, an Australian series that's been available on Netflix since last year. At first glance, the story might seem like just another one about the undead, zombies, or the like. In fact, Glitch was even compared to the series The Returned and Resurrection. But despite using a theme already familiar to audiences, the plot is totally new and told in a completely different way from anything you've seen on the subject.
No apocalypse or deadly virus, Glitch tells the story of seven risen from the ashes in an apparently spontaneous and natural, and of course, mysterious way in the fictional town of Yoorana, Australia. The first episode begins with the seven literally climbing out of their own graves, completely terrified.
Gradually, each character's story is revealed as they recover their memories. Among the seven, there's nothing in common regarding their deaths. Each one died in a different era and the causes are varied: strangulation, health problems, hanging, car accident, etc. Why the seven were chosen to return to life, nobody knows. But it seems they have something in common: an unresolved situation left behind before they died.

Glitch is written by Louise Fox, Kris Mrksa, and Giula Sandler, and directed by Emma Freeman. It's produced by Noah Burnett and Noah Fox, with Tony Ayres serving as executive producer.

Glitch has nothing scary about it, but it has plenty of suspenseful scenes, action, and even a good dose of humor at just the right moments. From start to finish, the series captivates viewers by showing something we can't imagine what it would be like. And because of that, there are plenty of scenes where you find yourself having the same thoughts and reactions as the characters, which gives you the feeling of being there, in Yoorana, living that situation.
The story flows without dragging and in a connected way. Each episode continues the story left by the previous one, answering some mysteries and creating many others. The pace is great, with very well-written dialogue. The acting is impeccable and doesn't disappoint at all. I'm a fan of series with few settings that still manage to hold your attention. Plus, the scenery is beautiful and breaks away from that American/European standard we're tired of seeing. Glitch shows that to tell a good story you don't need a lot of frills. Just a good script and a good team.
Will Glitch get a 4th season?
Unfortunately, Glitch will not get a fourth season. That's because the plot that takes place in Yoorana seems to have come to an end in the last episode of the third season. Therefore, the service along with ABC decided to end the series in its third year.
It's worth noting that it's been difficult for a Netflix series to have more than three seasons. The service believes that it's no longer worth extending a story that has no reason to continue.
Furthermore, the service hasn't been able to continue productions and has been canceling several series that haven't been delivering returns. Compared to other productions, Glitch's success is modest in global terms, in addition to presenting a plot already known and done by other series in the genre.
