The CoD franchise has always been well-known, but since the games were paid, not as many people were playing. However, with this mode being released for free, the game became much more popular.

Fortnite or Call of Duty: Warzone, which is better for me? Well, it's hard to define that without knowing you. But the games have clear differences, which end up attracting different audiences.
Although both are Battle Royales, Fortnite has much more cartoonish graphics. While Call of Duty: Warzone seeks more realism, which is why its characters are humans drawn in a more realistic way.
Another huge difference is that in Fortnite there's the possibility of building structures. Something that requires great hand-eye coordination. Because of this, many people end up choosing CoD.
But this is going to be a very personal choice. Both games are excellent and have a large number of fans. If you can't decide, download both games and test them to see which one seems more fun to you, after all they're free.
