Season 5 and the final season of
Stranger Things is already in production, shaking the foundations of all fans. Throughout all seasons, there have been many surprising, happy, and breathtaking moments.
And with the narrative coming to an end, many fans wonder how the relationship between characters Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) will turn out, who started a romance and shortly after broke up. In this way, actor Finn Wolfhard gave more details about what's to come between the two. Check out everything below in full:
First, it's important to note that
Stranger Things wasn't exactly canceled: the goal of the
series creators has always been to end the story with 4 or 5 seasons. The Duffer Brothers confirmed that the complete arc of Stranger Things would be completed with the release of up to 5 batches of episodes.
Since the showrunners had already decided the fate of the characters before the series even premiered, the fact that Stranger Things is ending in season 5 isn't exactly a surprise. Although Stranger Things is ending, the universe of the series will be expanded in new
Netflix projects.
"We still have many interesting stories to tell in the world of Stranger Things: new mysteries, new adventures, and new unexpected heroes", the Duffer Brothers said in a joint statement.
Therefore, the announcement of the series' conclusion in its fifth season can prevent the production from wearing out and losing the relevance it has gained over the years.
