Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Now Features New Cast Additions
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be a sequel. The first Black Panther film was released in 2018 and grossed a staggering 1.3 billion dollars at the box office, making it one of the biggest successes in history.
But the success was no accident; it was a blockbuster with charismatic characters and an engaging story. However, to the sadness of fans, Chadwick Boseman passed away due to cancer he had been battling for a long time and unfortunately did not survive.
Sadly, at the time of his passing, filming was already underway, and Marvel Studios stated that the actor's character will not be recast.
However, the story of Wakanda is expected to continue. How this will be done is still unknown. The film has been produced in Atlanta, and new actors have been added to the cast, possibly to find a way to continue the film despite the protagonist's death.
The film is scheduled for release on July 8, 2022. However, a delay would not be unexpected given the circumstances the film has faced.
