It's time for another event in Overwatch 2, and this time Blizzard is following a Greek mythology theme with Battle for Olympus.
The Free-for-All Deathmatch mode will be available to play from January 5 to 19, giving seven heroes in the playlist a new set of divine abilities.

The affected characters include Widowmaker, who will turn enemies to stone, Squire Queen, who will summon a lightning bolt during her ultimate to cause havoc, and Roadhog, who can transform into a giant cyclops.
The new temporary mode in Overwatch 2
The Blizzard released a trailer as part of the event announcement that revealed what we can expect from Battle for Olympus. We will be able to earn “divine rewards,” so probably the usual combination of voice lines, sprays, victory poses, and hopefully the skins we can see in the trailer.
The epic free-for-all battles take place at Château Guillard. But the fun doesn't stop there, as after the event ends, each hero who secured the highest number of eliminations throughout the event will have a marble statue of their image added to the Ilios control map.
It seems the game's second season will be full of events, because even before Battle for Olympus ends, we will be able to participate in the Lunar New Year event happening from January 17 to February 6 this year.
