GungHo recently released a special video for its newest game, Ninjala. The video is Episode 0 of the franchise's story, humorously explaining how Ninja-Gum, the main element for character creation, came to be.
Ninjala is a free-to-play online game featuring a colorful cast of characters representing young ninjas who engage in dynamic battles while freely running through the environments. Players can create a custom avatar and use a wide variety of items and special abilities, highlighted by the use of different weapons and ninjutsu techniques, all powered by the crazy "Ninja-Gum".
The title offers a free Battle Royale mode, as well as a multiplayer battle mode for up to 8 players. Additionally, a recent gameplaytrailer was presented at the latest Nintendo Direct Mini, which also announced the release date.
Finally, Ninjala will be released on May 27, 2020, as a Nintendo Switch exclusive.
