NieR Replicant to Get Remaster for PS4, Xbox One, and PC

The first game in the franchise is being remastered for current platforms

Square Enix recently announced that NieR Replicant, released in 2010 for PlayStation 3, is being remastered. The announcement came through a teasertrailer confirming the game under the title NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…, though it did not show the first remastered scenes.
Additionally, it was revealed that the remaster is being handled by Toylogic, who will be responsible for graphical improvements, porting, and re-dubbing the characters.
It is worth remembering that this game is the first NieR, produced by the now-defunct Cavia, and preceded the phenomenon NieR Automata from 2017. The title was released in two different versions, as well as on different platforms. For Xbox 360, the game was released with the subtitle Gestalt, also in 2010.
Finally, NieR Replicant will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms, but no release date has been announced yet. Square Enix will also be launching Automata through Xbox Game Pass, which will be available soon.
