Companies Create a Major War in the Gaming World
The chapters of the war between Microsoft and Sony appear almost every week, with various criticisms and accusations from one company to the other. With the purchase of Activision Blizzard and Call of Duty at the center of the dispute, the two companies own the two main current-generation consoles, where exclusive games and game subscription plans are the main debated topics.
After Game Pass captured a good market share, Sony heavily criticized the service, but apparently Jim Ryan does not fear Microsoft's platform.
Jim Ryan Surprises and Reveals He Does Not Fear Game Pass
In an interview with the portal Insider Gaming, a source revealed a surprising statement from Jim Ryan, who does not fear Game Pass. According to the information, the CEO does not see Microsoft's service as a competitor, see below:
“When we consider Game Pass, it seems they are downplaying the service's numbers. Looking at Game Pass [results], we sold more PS5 units in two years than they have subscribers in their 6 to 7 years of the service. We have less than 50 million subscribers and they are around 20, but there is more work to do to increase that number.”
So far, Jim Ryan has neither confirmed nor denied the statement, which dropped like a bomb in the great battle between the two gaming giants.
