Gunpowder Milkshake 2 Confirmed and Already in Development

The girl power began with a wonderful cast of women leading the film, and although an ongoing pandemic poses challenges, bigger plans await the sequel.

Set to premiere in a week, Gunpowder Milkshake stars Karen Gillan, accompanied by a star-studded cast full of powerful women like Angela Bassett, Michelle Yeoh, Lena Headey, Carla Gugino, and Chloe Coleman. The film is set to debut on Netflix, as StudioCanal chose the streaming platform while also securing theatrical release rights.

Gunpowder Milkshake: Explosive Mix follows hitwoman Sam’s story, who is in the middle of a high-risk mission when she rebels after seeing an innocent child caught in a gang war and tries to keep the girl safe by turning to her mother Scarlet, a former assassin with ex-hitwoman helpers.

Gunpowder Milkshake: Explosive Mix will premiere on July 14, 2021, on Netflix.
