Among the biggest highlights of the moment are titles such as Love Isn't Exhausted, No Salvation, Everybody Hates Chris, and the new season of Jujutsu Kaisen, which quickly became a phenomenon among anime fans.
Below, see which are the 10 most watched series on Netflix today in Brazil and understand why each one is being so successful.
10. False Profile
False Profile continues strong among Netflix's most watched series thanks to the combination of suspense, toxic romance, and constant plot twists.
The Colombian production follows Camila, a woman who believes she has found the perfect man on a dating app. The problem begins when she discovers that practically everything about him was a lie.
The series grows precisely in the construction of mystery. Each episode reveals new secrets, betrayals, and emotional manipulation. Brazilian audiences have responded very well to the style of production, which mixes elements of soap opera with psychological thriller. Furthermore, the fast-paced narrative causes many people to binge the series in just a few days.
Another important factor is the strong engagement on social media, where several scenes have been going viral.
9. The Ball's Owner
The Ball's Owner became one of Netflix's biggest recent surprises.
The series mixes sports, family drama, and business disputes in a plot that follows a woman taking command of a traditional basketball club after a tragedy.
The production's differential lies in the emotional construction of the characters. The protagonist must face prejudices, internal conflicts, and enormous pressure while trying to reorganize the team.
Beyond sports drama, the series also addresses female leadership, power, and the behind-the-scenes of the business world.
The growth in viewership happened mainly through audience recommendations, something that is becoming increasingly common within Netflix.
8. If Wishes Were Deadly...
Mixing sharp humor, suspense, and absurd events, If Wishes Were Deadly... quickly entered the list of most talked-about series on the platform.
The story presents characters whose wishes begin to come true in unexpected — and extremely dangerous — ways.
The result is a chaotic, unpredictable narrative full of social criticism hidden in exaggerated situations.
Many Brazilian viewers have compared the series to productions like Black Mirror, mainly due to the psychological discomfort caused in several episodes. At the same time, the production manages to maintain a more fun and less heavy tone, which greatly helps its popularity.
7. Jujutsu Kaisen – New Season
Jujutsu Kaisen returned to the spotlight after the premiere of the new season on Netflix.
The anime follows Yuji Itadori, a young man who enters a universe dominated by extremely dangerous supernatural curses.
The new season increases the level of battles and deepens the development of important characters in the story.
The main highlight continues to be the quality of the animation, especially in fight scenes, which have been highly praised by fans.
The Brazilian otaku community also helps boost the anime on social media. New episodes quickly generate memes, debates, and theories. Today, Jujutsu Kaisen is already considered a phenomenon.
