New episodes of The Seven Deadly Sins are being harshly censored, sparking fan outrage
The third season of The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai) has already premiered in Japan, but something has been bothering anime fans. During the broadcast of the first episode, which aired last Wednesday (9th) on TV Tokyo, the most violent scenes displayed were ridiculously censored. It's worth remembering that the first episode was a recap of the previous seasons, featuring major battles against monsters. However, instead of blood, bright white liquids were shown, and exposed wounds were hidden behind a black background. The censored images looked grotesque, as if they were done in a rush.
