New transformation
The franchise's creator, Akira Toriyama, confirmed what fans have been waiting for: Gohan will have a new transformation in the battle against Gamma.
During an interview to promote the movie, Toriyama confirmed that Gohan's new transformation, which makes his hair turn gray and his eyes turn red, will be labeled as "Son Gohan Beast".

Explanation of the name
The manga artist explained in the interview why Gohan's transformation received this name:
"Gohan has had some transformations in the past, but this time he needed to awaken to a new one. Gohan achieved his own unique evolution, based on the type of awakening he had as a child.
I called this transformation "Son Gohan Beast", in the sense that the beast within him awakened. For the design, I tried to draw him with a scary face and pale skin, but somehow that didn't seem like Gohan. So instead, I just gave him the usual big, spiky hair, which turned out surprisingly well: everyone said "it looks so cool!" which really made me feel humbly grateful.
Frankly, I'm not sure what kind of design I should use if I transform him again."
About Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero
The movie will premiere on August 18th in Brazil, and is a sequel to the Broly movie. Director Tetsurô Kodama is in charge of production, while Toriyama serves as one of the executive producers.

Synopsis:
