The preview of the eighth episode of House of the Dragon arrived yesterday, bringing major plot updates and the new look of Aegon and Aemond Targaryen. With another time jump, the sequel to the HBO Maxseries promises even more action and shows that the Dance of the Dragons is very close to happening.

Plot gets closer to the Dance of the Dragons events
As we saw in the seventh episode, the Dance of the Dragons is very close to happening in House of the Dragon, putting the Targaryen family in major conflict. With incredible plot twists, the production showed that young Aegon and Aemond Targaryen will play a fundamental role in the plot, especially after the latter conquered his dragon in the episode that arrived yesterday on HBO Max.
Now the production is very close to showing the war between the Greens, led by Otto and Alicent Hightower, and the Blacks, who will have Rhaenyra and Daemon Targaryen as their main members in the Dance of the Dragons.
Preview shows new look for Aegon and Aemond Targaryen
As with every episode finale, HBO Max released a preview of the sequel to the production, which revealed the new looks for Aegon and Aemond Targaryen. Now Aegon is no longer played by Ty Tennant and will be portrayed by Tom Glynn-Carney, known for Tolkien and Dunkirk, check it out:
Meanwhile Aemond will be played by Ewan Mitchell, a British actor known for Burning World and the series The Last Kingdom, who was previously played by young Leo Ashton, see below:
