New Culinary Isekai Anime Releases Its 1st Trailer, Check It Out

The original light novel, popularly called Isekai Tondemo Skill, is Ren Eguchi's first novel, and its illustrations are done by Masa. They began publication in November 2016, with publisher Overlap. In 2017, the publisher also began publishing a manga adaptation of the work, done by K Akagishi.

As for the anime adaptation in 2023, it will be directed by Kiyoshi Matsuda at the famous studio Mappa. Michiko Yokote will be responsible for the scripts, while Nao Ootsu will handle character design and animation direction. The soundtrack will be composed by Masato Kouda, Kuricorder Quartet, and Kana Utatane.

And in the anime's original voice cast are:

• Yuuma Uchida as Tsuyoshi Mukouda.
• Satoshi Hino as Fel.
• Hina Kino as Sui.
• Maaya Uchida as Ninrir.

Isekai Tondemo Skill Synopsis

Mukouda Tsuyoshi was summoned from modern Japan to a different world of sword and magic. He thought he would live a great adventure, but actually, he remained a civilian and the only special skill he gained was the "Food Menu," which allows him to buy food from modern Japan through an interface.

In comparison to the other summoned heroes, Mukouda's basic stats are also inferior. Seeing this, the king and everyone else became suspicious of him, and Tsuyoshi, fearing being used and discarded, fled the castle.

The only thing Tsuyoshi could rely on in this new world was his unique skill. It wasn't useful for combat, but if used correctly he wouldn't have problems surviving... But soon he discovered that his skill had ridiculous effects.

Being able to create delicious dishes never seen before in this world, Mukouda attracts many powerful people, even the legendary wolf Fenrir, who makes a contract with Tsuyoshi to become his familiar.

Now accompanied by a legendary being, Tsuyoshi will embark on a journey full of cuisine and lots of danger in a fantastic isekai.
