Kindred Cancelled After One Season by FX

After just one season, the FX network cancelled the series Kindred: The Heat of the Moment, which premiered on the network and on Hulu streaming in December of last year. The production was a hit with fans, most rating platforms considered the series a good launch for the network, and yet it won't get its second season. According to reports, Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, creator of the series and known for Watchmen, is expected to acquire the rights to the production. Kindred: The Heat of the Moment Has an Incredible Science Fiction Plot

Kindred: The Heat of the Moment is inspired by the homonymous book by author Octavia E. Butler, released by her in 1979. In the plot we follow Dana, a young woman who ends up being thrown back and forth through time, experiencing various historical passages and other events that promise to be the greatest adventure of her life. During her time jumps, the young woman needs to figure out how she'll manage to get out of this situation. The cast of the series Kindred features Mallori Johnson, Micah Stock, Ryan Kwanten, Gayle Rankin, Austin Smith, Antoinette Crowe-Legacy, and David Alexander Kaplan as highlights.
