The Office is one of the biggest sitcom successes
The American version of The Office is one of the biggest successes of recent years, bringing the adaptation of the iconic British series. Premiering in 2005, the production had 9 seasons, totaling 201 episodes showing the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company offices in Scranton, Pennsylvania. In it we see the troubled daily life of the team led by Michael Scott, which turns the company into a bunch of comedic characters.
With a documentary style, the series was responsible for launching great actors to stardom, including John Krasinski himself. Recently the actor joined the MCU, where he played a variant of Reed Richards, the brilliant leader of the Fantastic Four.
Star confirms his character was the real villain of the show
After a MovieWeb article put Jim Halpert as The Office's villain, the actor from A Quiet Place commented on the fact. Without much ado, Krasinski agreed with the article, and even joked about his involvement in Doctor Strange: in the Multiverse of Madness, check it out:
"They came after me because I played a super villain. That's why I did the Fantastic Four - to balance it out. I had already played a villain before."
In Doctor Strange 2, John Krasinski made his first role within the superhero universe, where he kept his participation in the Marvel film secret for two years. Besides that, he's one of the contenders to assume the role of Mr. Fantastic in the first film of the team in the MCU, which comes to theaters in 2024.
