Good things always come back, and Gundam 00 is one more that will turn fans' joy into reality
During an event celebrating the 10-year anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 in Tokyo, director Seiji Mizushima (Director of all episodes and the film) revealed that they are working on a continuation for the animation, as well as a theatrical presentation. More details will still be released in the coming days.
Double Zero was the first version of the franchise to be created entirely in FullHD. Its first season aired from October 6, 2007 to March 29, 2008, with a total of 25 episodes. The second season was broadcast between October 5, 2008 and March 29, 2009, also with 25 episodes.

The story of Kidou Senshi Gundam 00 takes place in the year 2307 A.D. In this world, fossil fuels no longer exist. To acquire energy, three elevators were built that reach into space and capture sunlight. This energy source is called solar power. However, this same world is in constant conflict for power and is divided into three factions. To end this conflict, a non-governmental armed group called Celestial Being, possessing four mobile suits, declares that it will bring peace to the world even by force, destroying all those who are involved in any conflict.
