Synopsis of the dorama "Kokdu: Season of Deity"

Kokdu was once a human who lived in Korea. The gods transformed him into a Death Angel who must go to the mortal realm every 99 years to mercilessly punish humans for their weakness and fragility. He came to despise humans, becoming cruel and merciless. This time, when he arrives at the mortal realm, he "possesses" the body of a young promising doctor named Do Jin Woo. But he finds his mission of sending souls to the afterlife compromised when he must fulfill Do Jin Woo's medical duties. This leads him to meet Han Gye Jeol, a doctor who graduated from the worst medical school in South Korea. However, despite Han Gye Jeol's seemingly unpromising future, Kokdu discovers that she possesses mysterious powers — and she seems to have him under her spell.
