Meet Trolley, one of Netflix's successes in 2023
In one of our latest recommendations this Tuesday, May 16th, we need to talk about Trolley, a South Korean dorama that premiered on Netflix in 2023. With just 16 episodes in its season, it falls into the drama, mystery, and romance genres, taking us through a season full of political scandals and secrets coming to light. In the plot, we follow the story of Hye-joo, a woman with a dark past who is determined to live the best life possible alongside her husband, Joong-do, a member of South Korea's National Assembly. But when their son Ji-hoon is found dead with drugs in his pocket, Hye-joo finds herself needing to overcome and face a moral dilemma from her past. In the main cast of Trolley, we have Kim Hyun-joo and Park Hae-Soon, who play Kim Hye-joo and Nam Joong-do, the main couple. The duo, who are 46 and 53 years old, is best known for their work in Hellbound (2021) and My Name (2021), both Netflix productions. Besides them, we also have Kim Mu-yeol, Jung Soo-bin, Seo Jeong-yeon, Choi Myung-bin, Yoon Sa-bong, Jung Soon-won, Choi Soo-im, Ryu Hyun-kyung, Ki Tae-young and Kim Mi-kyung.Who is behind Trolley?
