Death at the end of Hawkeye
After his fight with Kate Bishop, the Kingpin was ambushed by his niece, Maya Lopez, who discovered that Fisk was responsible for her father's death. In a tense scene, the two face each other, with a gun pointed at the villain, Maya ends up shooting, making the villain's death clear at the end of the Disney+ series.
However, actor Vincent D'Onofrio was previously confirmed as the villain in the new Daredevil series, even appearing as part of the production's presentation at D23. These facts led fans to imagine how Wilson Fisk ended up saving himself from the point-blank shot, and how he's alive in the new MCU series.
How did the Kingpin survive?
Despite seeming like a difficult answer, the Kingpin still being alive in the MCU might not be as big a mystery as we imagined. In Marvel comics, a very similar scene has already occurred, where Echo also shoots the Kingpin in the face, where he also escaped, but became blind, as you can see below:

However, in the preview shown at D23, the MCU's Kingpin appears to be wearing an eye patch, which suggests that even after being shot in the face he managed to survive. For sure in the first episodes of the new Daredevil series it will be explained how the Kingpin escaped with his life, since he will be the main antagonist of the production.
