How to Get the Worst Ending in The Quarry

The Quarry is a choice-driven game, and shortly before its release it was revealed that the game has a bonus with over 150 different endings, and among them is the worst ending: kill everyone. But this is no easy task since depending on the decision in the QTEs, the character may or may not survive.

Before knowing how to kill all the characters, it's necessary to understand a bit of the story and where The Quarry is set, check it out:

The Quarry game synopsis

It's the end of summer in the remote forests north of New York, and the teenage counselors of Hackett's Quarry will have the camp to themselves on this last night. That is, no kids, no adults, and no rules. In this electrifying cinematic tale, you control the fate of all nine camp counselors as their plans for the party unfold into an unpredictable night of terror. Thus, with life-and-death decisions at every turn, your choices determine how the story will unfold.

Without further ado, to get the worst ending you need to follow a specific order of choices.

How to kill Jacob and Emma

When Jacob and Emma are swimming and Abigail shouts, the option to dive or help will appear. By choosing "Dive", Jacob will dive to retrieve the rotor arm and must pull twice, causing his death.

When choosing to help Abigail, if the player is playing with Ryan there's the option to "Fire Gun", making Ryan kill Jacob unknowingly.

As for Emma, after leaving the lake, she goes to the tree house, where she'll have two options: "Open Trapdoor" or "Search Backpack", for her to die, just choose the first option.

Killing Abigail

After discovering Kaylee Hackett's body, Abigail goes to talk to Nick who ends up throwing her against the wall and with that, Abigail manages to find a gun on the ground, where it gives the choice to "shoot" or "do nothing", by choosing the second option Nick attacks Abigail, severing her head.

How to kill Laura and Ryan

To kill both characters, Ryan needs to steal Travis's gun and shoot him while Laura pretends to be sick. 

Killing Nick

After Nick's transformation, he is captured by hunters and thrown in a cage, Ryan and Laura find a room where the cages are. Laura sees the caged werewolf and shoots, not knowing it's Nick.

How to kill Dylan, Laura, Ryan and the Hacketts

The Hacketts surround Laura and the old woman attacks her, if you successfully complete all the QTEs, the old woman's head will explode. Ryan is stabbed by Bobby, but you shouldn't pull the knife out yet. When the chance comes, stab Bobby and accept Laura's offer to transform into a werewolf and heal all wounds.

After Laura transforms she attacks Travis, Ryan sees the werewolf killing Bobby and Jedediah. Then Ryan kills Chris, when Laura turns back human, Travis will stab her to death. To kill Ryan you need to choose aggressive dialogue, fail the QTEs and the sheriff will shoot Ryan.

Dylan will find Max's car stuck on a crane and after maneuvering, a werewolf will appear and attack. For Dylan to die you need to choose the options: Warn Kaitlyn, Honk and fail the QTEs when the monster attacks Dylan.

How to kill Max and Kaitlyn

By killing Chris Hackett, Max is cured of the curse and players will have the chance to control the character, needing to choose the option to "Swim to shore" and upon arrival, Max is ambushed by a hungry werewolf.

Kaitlyn is the last character and when she's in the cabin a werewolf will come out of the chimney and you need to choose the option to "wait" and then "don't shoot", soon the werewolf will attack her.

The Quarry was released on June 10 and is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X.
