About American Horror Story
Created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan, American Horror Story is an anthology horror series that explores new terrifying tales with each season. The plot is inspired by themes, formats, and genres already familiar to horror lovers such as haunted houses, possessed people, or ruthless killers to surprise the audience with shocking scenes of violence.
Each season, the series presents a new plot with charismatic protagonists and sadistic and terrifying villains committing various unthinkable acts. Although it's an anthology, American Horror Story often reuses the same actors in its seasons, always playing new characters. Among the most recurring faces of the series are Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, Jessica Lange, Angela Bassett, and Kathy Bates.

A particularity of the show is that the same actors appear in all seasons, but always as different characters. The actors are the same, but with different characteristics, roles, and importance.
The cast is undoubtedly one of the main attractions of the series. This is because Jessica Lange (from King Kong and Cape Fear) always acts as the protagonist of the season, leaving viewers with their jaws on the floor with the quality of her performance.
For those who enjoy horror stories, it's worth investing in American Horror Story. This is because the series doesn't follow the "silly horror" model of many films in this genre. It really bets on elements that provoke anxiety, discomfort, and plenty of suspense!

Since American Horror Story is nowadays one of the most-watched series by Americans, the production is practically flawless. Makeup, scenery, and special effects leave everyone speechless.
Another interesting factor is that each season of American Horror Story tells a different story. This means you don't necessarily need to watch it in order, which makes it easier when you find an episode somewhere and simply follow the outcome.
Furthermore, American Horror Story has already won 94 of its 429 award nominations. The franchise received 28 nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award. It received 50 Creative Arts Emmy Award nominations, winning eleven times. It received nine Golden Globe nominations. Additionally, the series also received three Screen Actors Guild Award nominations.
