Widely considered one of the best
DreamWorks Animation films, The Prince of Egypt is a musical adaptation of the biblical story of Moses. In the film, Egyptian prince Moses (Val Kilmer) discovers his true Hebrew identity and his destiny to lead his people to freedom.
Moses' brother, Ramses (Ralph Fiennes), rules the Hebrews ruthlessly as pharaoh, causing a rift between the brothers who grew up and became best friends. While Ramses chooses oppression for the Hebrews, while Moses cries out for their freedom, the pair's opinions are too opposed for any reconciliation to occur.

They end up on opposite sides of the human hunter's gun and, more painfully, there are external factors that disrupt this friendship that works so well.
