Jujutsu Kaisen is an anime that follows a boy named Yuji Itadori who ate a demon's finger and, as a result, was given special powers. He's enrolled in a school dedicated to educating talented sorcerers on how to effectively and discreetly eliminate demonic spirits that walk among normal humans unnoticed, causing chaos.

The Yakuza series as a whole is known for its blend of crazy comedy and undeniably Japanese stories and Yakuza: Like A Dragon fits that belief perfectly. The game features a main character named Ichiban Kasuga, who is as likeable as he is unpredictable. As a series, Yakuza offers an authentic and hyperbolic glimpse into Japanese culture and society, unafraid to mock itself.
Kasuga might not be a direct parallel to Yuji Itadori from Jujutsu Kaisen, but both share that impetuous confidence that often substitutes for their actual ability. Comedy is hard to find in the gaming world and Yakuza: Like A Dragon nails it on that front.

The twist is that if the murderer is caught, they'll be executed, but if a student falsely accuses someone, they'll be executed. It creates a high-risk environment where students must protect themselves while also trying to figure out the best path to freedom.
