Indian cinema, or rather Bollywood films, are known for their special characteristics of melodramas, musicals, and dances that mix typical Indian choreography with Western steps. Today, the industry surpasses Hollywood in terms of annual production and has increased its budgets to produce increasingly relevant films.
We brought films that have been praised by specialized critics and are available in the Netflix catalog. The list includes "The Great Step," from 2020 and directed by Sooni Taraporevala; "Blind Murder," 2018, by Sriram Raghavan; and "Pad Man," also from 2018, directed by R. Balki.
