Another classic DC comic is becoming an animation. This is Batman: The Long Halloween – Part One, an adaptation of the comic by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale.

In Batman: The Long Halloween, a mysterious serial killer begins targeting victims on holidays throughout the year, starting his massacre on Halloween. From there, the dark atmosphere of his murders extends through Gotham’s other holidays. It’s up to the Dark Knight to end this carnage and shed light on this secret, so this long Halloween can end as soon as possible.
The story was originally published between 1996 and 1997 and even won the Eisner Award.
Star-Studded Cast
Featuring Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) as the voice of Bruce Wayne, the cast also includes Josh Duhamel as Harvey Dent, Troy Baker as the Joker, and Naya Rivera, who passed away in 2020, as Selina Kyle/Catwoman.
Additionally, other roles are voiced by Billy Burke as James Gordon, Titus Welliver as Carmine Falcone, David Dastmalchian as Calendar Man, Amy Landecker as Barbara Gordon, Julie Nathanson as Gilda Dent, Jack Quaid as Alberto, Fred Tatasciore as Solomon Grundy, and Alastair Duncan as Alfred.
The film is directed by Chris Palmer with Tim Sheridan handling the screenplay.
